I plan to grab an S5 sportback down the road when better deals are available. Does Costco ever do incentives on S5’s? Would it make sense for me to sign up for Costco for when the time comes?
Costco been pretty random though Audi / and GM appear on it a lot.
Yes, I was shopping for a s5 sport back last year and there was a $1,000 incentive if I remember correctly.

Why not just sign up for the basic Costco membership now?
From what we’ve seen, it’s one manufacturer per quarter on the Costco incentives. I wouldn’t count on S5’s being incentivized, in saying that it is worth having Costco to be eligible for any possible “deals” that come up in the future.
Typically through Groupon or maybe even your credit card you can get the annual cost down to $40-50 bs the standard $60. If you do not use it ( even just for the fuel savings ) or one isn’t close by cancel when the year is up and then if a deal comes along re-activate and as is currently written makes you eligible.
Several threads on LH debating the merits of having a membership. Also can order from Costco online too.
Their promotions tend to be limited to members who became members prior to the promo start date.
For example a promo beginning March 1 will be limited to members prior to Feb 28
Yeah I remember reading that which is why I was considering joining sometime soon. I don’t have any Costco near me so I wouldn’t be benefiting from the membership other than hopefully getting an S5 incentive at some point in the next year.
If you don’t use it you can ask for a refund every year.
I don’t have a Costco near me either, but I signed up for a basic membership last year. I also have a Penfed membership to take advantage of Audi lease deals.
As has been mentioned in all the threads about whether or not it makes sense to get Costco, you don’t have to have a store near you to benefit.
Probably every rental car I’ve booked in the last 10 years was through Costco travel.
I just bought a new iPad from Costco which shipped online faster than it was available from Apple, with their extended return policy and extended warranty, and I bought AppleCare which was 20 bucks cheaper than Apple — without ever stepping into a warehouse.

Yikes and how many of those are ‘fake listings’ hehe so lets say 18 in the whole country? that’s really a unicorn hunt.
You might have some kind of luck? They did a refresh for 2022 A8 at least in Europe, Audi USA website still shows 2021 model.
They dropped V8s from all trims but the S8. S8 review was sweet
