Confused about loaner cars

I am telling you exactly what the GM Lease guide says, so it does not matter what the dealer says, I agree with you, until they punch the info into their computer they are only flying by the seat of their pants to tell you what you want to hear.

With all of these variances in GM dealer loaner leases, I’m under the impression they bake the miles back into the lease at some dealerships with less discount, whereas others go by the book/GM Lease guide (in our cases). Mine initially baked my miles back in, until I told him not to bother. Got another 500 off.

Just got another XT5 offer (better, not good, although they chose to write “super deal” on it) I did tell them if possible I’ll eat the miles. Offer had 10k a year. I asked for a breakdown though and never got an email back. Actually- this time around I replied with my counter as a full lease breakdown hoping to smoke out their numbers as no other strategy has worked. They never even replied.

Another day wasted emailing a Florida dealership. But- another “you’re getting 30k miles” despite me asking to eat the miles deal.

I had 3 dealers quote me with the miles reduced due to being a loaner and mine which quoted them included till I called them out. I stand by what I said, what @adamcar had said, and what the official GMF leasing guide says.

Ps, mine was an xt5, so Caddy isn’t different.
