Compact SUV - Chevy Equinox/Hyundai Tuscon/Toyota Rav4

In Cleveland, OH. Expecting first child in 2 months. My wife wants a compact SUV. Where can I get the most bang for my buck? Doesn’t matter if its a 2017 or 2018. Also open to other manufacturer suggestions…

I’ve done some research and gotten a Hyundai Tuscon 2017 SE AWD at 36 months/36K. Tax, title, fees, first payment, all included at $259/month. Tried to counter and the guy won’t budge. However, this was all over phone/text. If I go in, perhaps I can get more?

Honda seems to not be discounting at all. Popularity apparently allows them to play here?
Chevy dealers seem to have great purchase incentives right now but not lease?

Try Chevy Trax/Buick Encore.

Try a Subaru Forester (or Outback). May not be the cheapest (not sure what is comparable trim to Tuscon’s SE) but safety & utility are great.

Based on your interest in the Tucson, look at it’s cousin, the Kia Sportage. Take your deal offer for the Tucson to a local Kia dealership and see if they can beat it.

@DSS93, any update on your search?

Check out the Nissan rogue redesigned 2017.5 it’s their top selling SUV and they have a ton of inventory.

Good luck

If you want to fly to Boston and drive back… Leasard is the real deal and is true sign and drive … 35 payments not 36

hi @vhooloo where can I get that Rogue deal?

Check my other post on Nissan. Boch Nissan MA

Pulled the trigger on a Tucson SE AWD for $234/month. That number includes all tax, title, fees, and first payment. 36K Miles, 36 Months, .20c for miles thereafter.

Can you post the deal info for others to know and possible duplicate.

Sounds like it could have been a Leasard deal like the one advertised on their website.

The dealer gave me a $5,000 “rebate”. $1,500 of the $5,000 was “sales event flex cash”.

I had him roll tax, title, fee’s and first payment in to the lease.

value 24507 + 595 acquisition = 25102
gross cap is 26197
is the balance tax?

btw, msrp was what?

SE is the regular 6 speed auto with the 2L direct injection gas.

Deal seems roughly similar if I had been looking for AWD. FWD is doable under $200 monthly.
