A Prologue at $810 per month is a joke whether its math or emotion.
Sure, but the point is when you have facts behind it that’s better than just saying ‘ridiculous’…
Cna you please share more details about the incentive breakdown? I went to a lucid studio and all incentives I learned for a lease are: 7.5k lease credit, 5k trade in allowance, 2k conquest (or 3k loyalty), 1k employee referral, and 3k on some inventory units. That’s 19.5k at most, but you mentioned it’s possible to be 23.5k most, I’m interested to learn where are the other 4k gap can possibly come from?
I am sorry you are correct and I had mixed up some numbers. I was misremembering 17.5k was the pre trade in stack but it was post, and I hadn’t included the unadvertised 1k employee referral bonus.
Gravity incentive stack can go up to $18.5k (7.5k lease credit, 5k trade-in, 3k studio select, 2k conquest, 1k employee referral. Trade-in cannot be stacked with loyalty.)
Subaru Uncharted, you can get $5-6K off MSRP and there’s a $2K rebate through end of May.
Out of curiosity, would it have been worth buying out the Blazer EV end of leases? I was looking at it at some point.
It’s unlikely as GM used the federal tax incentive on these to boost the residual. My 2025 Blazer, with over a year left to go on the lease, has a residual that’s almost $10k higher than the current market value. GM is going to take a nice hit when I turn it in next year.
Even worse situation with my 2024 Blazer. My residual is 38k and retail is around 25k. GM’s financials on all these 24-25 EVs has to be a disaster. I would have considered another GM EV lease but my experience with my local dealer has made that a no -go.
In the same boat now , got a good deal back in 2024. Cannot find anything similar now
It’s been hard, could change by end of quarter when dealers may want to get rid of cars. I am working on an Ioniq 9 deal now… But it’s all the same, at a certain point you won’t save with EV’s if prices keep going this way..
