They do not start at $38k.
Messaged you
Messaged you. Looking to close a deal this weekend. Would like to see deal structure / talk to dealer to see if we can replicate
Why do they sell to CO only? Can’t they ship to other states?
Reason is, there is $3850 state rebates and only CO residents qualifies for this.
AHhh, ok thanks for explaining. Why do I live in a crappy state.
messaged you - thanks
I have made contact with the dealer. They will ship to my state California for $750.
Is it still a better deal even with the shipping cost?
I assume you need to drop it off at the same dealer at the end of the lease?
Compared to the one broker quote for a Ionic 5 SEL AWD (with an interior color that I do not want) in California, the Colorado car (with the colors I want) appears to be $1700 cheaper with shipping. I need to do more due diligence to confirm the numbers are correct but that is what it looks like. In Southern California, there are only a few AWD cars so I cannot find the exterior/interior color combination that I want.
How much does it come out to? Don’t you have to pay registration and taxes twice?
You won’t be eligible for the CO credit (3850) so between that and shipping you are looking at around 3x the price for colorado residents
I am waiting for the new August leasing numbers to be released and have not completed negotiations yet. There are no final lease numbers to report.
OP: Thanks for the lead.
I signed in July for $220/mo $0 down 24 mo/12k/yr.
I don’t know how people are getting these crazy cheaper deals,
but I’m happy with $220/mo.
I’m looking at signing an Ioniq 5 SEL for $193/month effective (today is August 12th). I’ll let you know what happens. The way it would work is zero DAS, followed by 23 payments of $201.98 which includes my 8.2% sales tax.
Can confirm I did close a deal yesterday at Schomp Hyundai for a 2025 Ioniq 5 SEL, MSRP $55,510. They were actually pretty scattered and screwed up paperwork a couple times; but in the end I got a zero due at signing, followed by $204.37/mo x 23 months since the first ‘payment’ was zero at signing. (on paperwork they show it as first month payment but that’s not really the case…they increased incentives on their end and used some as first month payment - they didn’t want on paper to show too much off of MSRP). Total term including 8.2% sales tax is ~$4700.51. $4700.51/24 months split = $195.85/month effective.

What was the discount %?
6.5%. MSRP $55,510. Sell price on paper was $53,701.07 minus another $1791.07 the dealer put elsewhere = $51,916.
$51916 / 55510 = .935
Please let me know if still possible.
