I just spent 11 days in Europe and was surprised by the current quality and looks of some of these old brands that don’t make it to the states. I recall seeing these cars years ago but they are keeping up with styling and interior finishes as well. I know CITROEN’s parent company is French and we obviously have issues with French auto manufacturers. Then Skoda is a Czechoslovakian Co.

I wonder how these vehicles would fair in the U.S market?

Given that the vast majority of US buyers seem uninterested in style or perceived build quality (and perhaps are not great at servicing their cars per manufacturer recommendations), I assume Citroen and Skoda would do quite poorly, actually.

I also think Skodas look terrible (at least in pics).
