Only the RX350 might be in your budget.
Out of those rx350 will be the closest
Plenty of deals on well equipped RX350s posted here. You can search my thread on one I picked up last week. Pretty easy to obtain in competitive markets (Ca). Others you are looking at will be more than $400.
Where would the Infiniti QX60 fit in the mix of this?
Depends where you live and what miles. I think it fits low 4s with msd and 10k miles low 50s msrp.
Q5 is not in your budget then. qx60 or RX might be
hmm… no chance except for RX but it’s not luxury! best case would be beamer loaners.
RX isn’t luxury?
Have you seen any MB SUVs (even loaners) for lower $400s? I haven’t.
your best bet may be an x3 loaner
What about the Acura MDX? Fully loaded can be had for 58,960
Are you a Morgan Stanley Reserved client? If so, there is a great bonus on Lexus vehicles.
My parents are morgan stanley reserved clients. By my calculations they should be at 399 w/ 1500 due at signing 27/10. They do have loyalty, but it doesn’t count for anything this month. This is with NO MSDS. So here comes my question: Most NJ dealers won’t do MSD for an NY customer (just for lexus). Has anyone had any luck doing msds on a Lexus as an NY resident in any other part of the country? As a broker people have come to me asking about this, and I’ve tried numerous times without any luck. I was thinking about going up to Boston and trying there.
From what I’ve read, I think it’s LFS that does not allow NY residents to do MSDs, even if leasing from a dealer outside of NY.
I know but most dealers in the immediate vicinity are aware of this, I was wondering if I went further, would dealers know. As the dealer doesn’t have to submit the contract beforehand to LFS, they just have to submit your credit app. If anything goes wrong after the fact it doesn’t matter as I’ve already signed my contract.
That’s what @Jeremyb hacked to, just with 0 due at signing, due to grad rebate. I have a couple dealers with a small number of new 2017s, wonder if that price can be hacked to 15-20% off before incentives. Residual is still respectable and there is more lease cash on those.
Of course, I still need to find a way to get a cert.
Yeah, but he had grad and 7500 miles. My parents need 10k and don’t have grad.
True. I’m sure there are some PGA certs floating around I’m showing a sub 300 lease possible in my state, if you can find a 2017 and stack the MS Reserved cert.
Residual is still good on 2017:
@cheapdad00 where did you find 2017’s?! Spent a day calling all Lexus dealers in California and none had premiums except for Carlsbad. Dealer discounted msrp by less than 5% even though she disclosed the car had had some damage.
There are plenty of luxuries all around but they have 54% residual on 36 months.
Lastly, PGA certs dont stack up on MS.
When i started looking a couple of weeks ago (when the msreserved cert popped up) there were 4 or 5 new 2017 Premium gx460s in NC, from looking at individual dealer websites. A quick check on cars.com today shows only 1 and I think when I asked about that one, it was sold. So it may be shadow inventory.
