In some states if you don’t take delivery of the car the deal was not completed.

I’m not positive, but I believe that’s a CA only law

It just doesn’t sound right that the dealer doesn’t have some empathy other then a “deal is done your stuck with it” approach.

I disagree. Guy signed a contract and now is second guessing his decision. I don’t fault the dealer one bit there.
