Can we just ban bad new users?

Does the forum have a reputation feature? Meaning some forums let you dislike something and after a while the dislikes posts get hidden.

If a certain number of people flag a post, it would get hidden. There isn’t really a selection flag for dumb or newb questions though.

Should we create a requirement for all new users requiring them to acquire a certain “badge” before posting?

Call it an explorer badge… each new user has to use the search function to find certain “flags” tagged across LH before being awarded the badge and given full access. A little quiz, of sorts.
