I want to get out of my Jeep GC lease under Chrysler Capital and unfortunately they don’t let people swap leases. My brother however is willing to drive it for the remaining year. Are there any problems with him living at my parents (15 min away) and driving my lease? What is the best way to go about insuring the vehicle?
You should add him as a driver of the car under your insurance. The registration and financial obligations are still yours, you’re just covering him as insured.
Swapping a lease is about actually removing the financial contract from your person to another lessee.
