Hi All -
In the past with certain automakers, I have been able to ‘sell’ my leased car to the dealership for equity (usually because I’m way under miles and it’s mint decent condition). Can this be applied to BMW cars? I have a 2022 330 series lease that is ending, under miles, and looking into see if I can return it to a dealer for some profit. Are there limitations to this for BMW? Any suggested sites to use vs visiting different BMW dealerships? Thank you!
You are about 3 years late but you can always try. Autonation and Driveway.
Sorry, but what do you mean by 3 years late? Or if that’s in reference to when they last allowed it, thanks.
That’s when cars had equity. You can still sell your BMW lease to BMW dealers and dealer groups that has a BMW store in their network.
Yeah good point. Around post covid was when they were at their peak.
Wait until June when Trump’s new 50% tariff on EU imports takes effect. Maybe the cost of 3 series made in the EU will jump, making used ones worth more. Not likely, but worth a shot…
They’re all made in Mexico, except the M3. It used to be that you could only get certain colors on the German builds, but that has changed.
