Does anyone know how to calculate lease payment for Ford’s programs? They dont use Money Factor and use APR instead. Should I just divide the APR bu 2400 and plug it into the lease calculator?

Yes

I know this is stupid… but I have to confirm.

When we say divide the lease APR… what is the appropriate math?

the Lease APR I’m looking at for example is 0.28%.

So is this 0.0028/2400?

Or is it 0.28/2400?

It’d think it’d be the first one but I want to be 100% certain?

.28/2400 = an *approximate* MF of .000117

Yea i knew that was too good to be true… lol thank you.

They list it as a percentage so I was hoping that you’d have to convert to a decimal first to calculate the MF.

.000117 is a great MF though, but I have to wonder if that’s a typo.

No confirmed with the dealership and edmunds.

10.5k/year:

24/10 = 0.28% APR and 63% Residual

36/10 = 0.75% APR and 57% Residual

.000117 is just a typical MF. Not sure why you think it is wonderful. Almost all of my leased cars has .0000x MF so far.

Kia’s are .002xx. GMC are .001xx. Even the Ford Escape is .0005x. So, yea, .000117 seemed a little low.

MF’s are 5 digits behind the decimal, that’s all I’ve ever seen.
