C43 AMG sedan - $685 per month

Hi guys,

I’ve been shopping around for C43 AMG leases and wanted to get your opinion on the following deal:

Msrp $65000
Selling price $60500 (includes fleet and discount)
36 months
7.5k miles
MF 0.00135
Residual 62%
Monthly $685
No cap cost reduction, just fees and taxes upfront

That discount doesn’t sound good, especially since it includes fleet. Isn’t fleet $2k?

Fleet discount is $1750. I also felt that the discount wasn’t that great overall but according to the sales manager the invoice price is around $60200 so he couldn’t go lower.

Was also interested in C43 sedan earlier this month, I was able to get at least 6k off msrp before any incentives, I believe the discount should be more since it’s the end of month/quarter/year. Good luck! I’m in SoCal If you need the dealer info I’m happy to get you connect to them.

I’m not sure I understand… It looks like he is close to invoice with Fleet, so really they are $1,750 above invoice? Do you qualify for United? I believe that is $2,500.

Thanks for the advise. I’m not familiar with united. Could you elaborate?

Also does fleet lower the invoice price? I’m trying to figure out how that flows into a deal.

Thanks for the offer! I’m in New York so socal would be a little far.

What Msrp did you get $6k discount on?

I love the c43 especially with performance exhaust. It put a huge smile on my face during the test drive.

Has anyone hacked this car to $500 all-in yet? Demo or not.

United Airlines Elites can get a discount of $2,500 after negotiating the best sales price.

In terms of your fleet discount, think of it this way… this isn’t coming from the dealer but from the manufacturer - so this should be applied after you can get the best sales price they will offer (eg invoice or under due to holdback).

I was under the impression the United benefit was just another way to get fleet, I doubt it is a higher value.

December fleet values for reference

Op, I would not settle for that discount there is more room in it but AMGs are tough to crack. If you are dead set on the car you should consider a custom order, I found it was easier to shop around which dealer would put it in for me at what discount versus trying to compare different spec’d units. Also consider multiple security deposits to lower the interest rate

Thanks for the explanation. I will keep that in mind going forward.

Thanks for the info! I have considered a custom order but since it’s year end I was hoping the dealer would be willing to give good discounts and I could get a good deal. According to the dealer, NY state does not allow MSD’s. It seems to be possible in New Jersey so I will see if any dealer there has any suitable C43’s.

In the meantime I have received a quote from a dealer in Pennsylvania. The discount (includes fleet) is better and monthly payment lower than the previous quote. Also this is for 10k vs 7.5k miles. MF due to full MSD’s is 0.00085.

What are your thoughts?

$3200 in drive-offs is too much. You need a breakdown showing all fees.

Agreed, I will check on that.
