Long story short:
I have a 2017 Macan for which I pay $699/month. Lease is due February 2020.
I currently have 38k miles , over 8k miles (at $0.5 x mile = -$4000)… in 9 months i will have 50k miles 
Do you suggest to get out from my lease ASAP ?
After trying to get an M3 with no luck , I tried with the 2019 C43 AMG, below are th numbers:
MSRP $73000
Drive Off - $10k (including $7k of negative equity of my Macan)
48 months-12k miles
Monthly payment - $864
You need to separate things out first before looking at a new car. You should figure out what your current payoff is on the Macan and then get quotes from Carmax, Vroom, Carvana etc. to figure out just how much negative equity you have. Compare the negative equity from that to what your anticipated mileage overage will cost you.
I’m not sure why if you’re driving 16k miles/year now on your Macan you would consider a 12k lease to replace it…
What was your original term on the Macan? Are you saying you are already over? Or just on a per year basis?
Well, hell, even if you are allowed 30k total and will be at 50k by lease end, that’s $10k in overage.
Take that AMG now and pay that same $10k up front, plus $165/mo more, plus driving 4k/yr over mileage on that one. I don’t see the financial advantage here.
Does Porsche allow you to purchase miles now at a discount?
Payoff is $45k…negative equity is $6900. The issue , in my opinion are the miles, don’t wanna spend $10k in miles… in the first 2 years i was driving 100 miles x day 'cause my job… now "only 40 miles " x day… that’s why the 12k miles x year…
I did not lease through Porsche… but as I said I really do not want end up paying $10k in miles.
Huh? But you just said you will drive 12k in the next 9 mos.
So you don’t want to pay $10k in miles … yet that is exactly what you will be doing with any new lease as well. That’s what a lease is.
You’re going to pay one way or another - either in mileage overage or in negative equity. However, trading into a lease where (given that your numbers don’t add up) you’ll likely go over the miles seems like a mistake.
Have you done the math? You’ll be paying $51,472 for the AMG to drive it 48k miles. That is over $1/mile, more than double the excess miles on the Macan.
if you are driving 40 miles per day x 5 x 52 that is still almost 11K per year leaving only 1000 miles for non-work driving. You sure 12k is enough? I think you should at least go for 15k, or just buy something
Math is hard but C43 so sexy!!!
If I was in your spot, and wanted to go over to the C43 AMG i would find one around the 62k MSRP mark with the performance exhaust & new digital display, not sure why the 73k MSRP is needed. The C63 starts at 68k for comparison
I’ve managed to get dealerships to give about 12-13% off Msrp on a model with performance exhaust & display. so I would shoot for that (in case anyone in CA is looking it was MB of Foothill ranch)

want to drive a car, not a SUV ( I had a Cayman before the Macan)
I’ll try to work it out with the dealer…
The funny thing is that I received quotes for the same car, same MSRP with more than $300 difference x month… crazy !

You might want to find an independent shop. There is zero reason to pay dealership rates, especially on a lease. My CLA45 goes to a local shop and saves me between 60 - 80 percent.

porsche stealership rips you off on services. i just returned my 911 to porsche not once i had it service by them. they wanted to charge me 800 for a damn oil change!
Or get the prepaid maintenance package
Im looking at a similar situation but a little less price but need some advice also, looking for a C43 coupe in the Tristate PA area willing to travel does anyone have any advice. Im willing to put down 5k but I want to know what should I shoot for in MF and AQ with 5k down. What should my payments be around on a MSRP of 67,000
What should my MF be with 4k down or 5k down
What should my purchase price be with a msrp of 67000
3 years or 4 years 12k miles a year the number of years dont matter its what every has the best rate Ill go with the 3 or 4 yr option.

I’m shopping the same car, 2019 C43. Best deal I’ve got so far is $7500 off on a $63k car. Make sure you drive it, the coupe rides a lot tighter than the sedan.
