It’s likely a wash over the course of the payments ($16k check but probably $16k+ also spent), but hey - that’s still amazing considering that isn’t how leasing is supposed to work in a normal market

No, if you ask for an lease extension you’ll have up to 6 months plus 1k mileage per month added to your initial mileage plan. I did it just this month. If you could find a private party it would be best. I did mine on Tred.com and it was super smooth and easy. If you think carvana is giving you the best positive equity then go through them. Know that the value/offer of your car can change up or down every 7 days cause it definitely did for me on my RX. Put it on Craigslist and FB marketplace. You’ll get more offers…but also know how to screen scammers. Tred will be legit if anyone wanna move forward with your sell.

So far, it’s still moving forward with Carvana without any hiccups, so we’ll see. I’ll post the outcome…keeping fingers crossed.
I sold my 2019 RX450 which was leased 2 weeks ago. The lease was with LFS. I did get an offer from Carmax but got a better offer from Lexus of Clearwater as my RX450 was a very unique build. If you can sell to a Lexus dealer you’re life will be easier for sure.
