Buying BMW 330e, given tax incentives/rebates (~$45K out of the door)

If it’s a 2023, I would highly doubt it. There are literally no 3 series coming out of Mexico right now. This would have to be a 2022 that is sitting on the ground, which would not be easy, given that 3 series are so scarce right now.

@MCC - the easiest way, aside from the VIN, to tell if it’s made in Mexico vs.Germany is the model name. 330e NA/330xe NA = made in Mexico. If there’s no NA, there’s your answer.

I got one, I ordered in July though.

Interesting; it could be something for 2023 of which I’m not aware, especially since there haven’t been many 3 series allocations period for 2023 at a lot of dealerships, because I was shown a screenshot of the locator that literally showed nothing NA for a 3 series anywhere in the country.

In that case, it’s 100% a gamble when a production number comes down.

I have a 2023 330e in the same status, also coming from Mexico. I thought I read all of the '23 3 series are going to be produced in Mexico, which may be why you don’t see an NA on any of them. If the VIN starts with a 3, it is from Mexico.

I honestly don’t know since I haven’t seen anything on it, but I certainly could be wrong! All I knew was that the few 330s, 330es, and M340is that have come in were German, and colors like tanzanite and dravit were available.
