You’re preaching to the choir. OP will need to pick a car that meets their needs and budget.
For a mid-size luxury SUV, the Macan is going to be your best value. Most dealers did not discount heavily to begin with and there are never any rebates. Plus it is the one brand you might still have equity with in 3 years if you lease today.

I put in an order for a 22 Yukon about 2 weeks ago at 9% off MSRP before incentives.
