I’ve leased vehicles from 2 different brokers on this site since 2019 (2 Tacomas & 2 4Xe Wranglers) and have reached out to others with questions. Every interaction has been professional and responses have been prompt within a reasonable amount of time. The broker fees I have paid are well worth it when it comes to the time I saved as well as the money I saved on the price of the vehicle. Some of these brokers are one person shows and I always respect their time. I realize that I am not the only inquiry or sale they have to deal with today. Even if you are dealing with a larger broker, it comes down to the fact that they are human beings on the other end of the inquiry, text, or email.
Well yes and no. These products are heavily discounted for a reason. I’m not sure the CDJR guys have their phones ringing off the hook/messages overflowing. End of day they are shit products
I do however think brokers are def worth their value though it is a simple business exchange so someone who doesn’t is free to negotiate their own deal.
I’ve never dealt with brokers. But every lease I’ve done since discovering this place many years ago, I’ve got better deals than I saw advertized here. And then add to that broker fees.
That’s being said it’s like any service. Some people prefer to spend the time doing it themselves others would rather outsource it. I can mow my own grass for free or I can pay someone $50 to do it.
For those who hate the grind or aren’t good at it, or don’t want to spend the time, brokers provide a valuable service.
IMHO, broker advertised deal here is a good information what you can reasonably get for that car. I have time to grind and not in a hurry, so prefer to do my own, however if I look for specific car with limited time, I don’t mind paying for one just to get it done easily.
At under $100 a month for a Dodge Hornet or under $300 for a 4xe I’m pretty sure @AutoCompanion@AutoNinjas and @CarmaLeasing have been pretty busy based on their CDJR threads. And my experience hacking a 4xe locally a few months back, most dealers still pretend they don’t have to discount to move the metal.
The good ones are obvious from their post activity and reviews. You just have to weed through them. Reach out to the top ones in your region and go from there. Best ones are responsive, knowledgeable, courteous, and patient enough to work with you (if not urgent to get car today/this month/etc). Obviously don’t be rude yourself, have unrealistic price expectations, etc.
What irony. I had been messaging @aronchi for days without a response. Tried email, phone, and this platform. Finally gave up. Have had the same experience messaging other brokers on this platform.
I did 2 deals on this forum over the last 2-3 years and was very happy. But more recently have had a similar experience as articulated by the author of this thread.
Ran multiple stores? Like you were a GM? I doubt it, sounds like you ran and got coffee for people in different stores…
If you were who you said you were, you would have contacts IN YOUR PHONE, not on this forum where you would get your cars from.
I highly doubt you ran a store, let alone multiple stores at once unless you were the child of a DP. The only thing it appears that you can run is your mouth.
Yeah, I have no idea how someone who supposedly managed 3 franchises can’t get a single contact at any of them to pass along a good deal. Unless they didn’t work there or build any bridges during their time…
I have experienced less responsive service from some brokers here as well, but I get it, we want good prices, you guys want to make money, and you’re the one with the deals/are busy. At the end of the day it’s fair play all things considered.
