My last several leases I’ve gone through brokers from the forums here. This time around I’m at the 36 month mark on an X3 but it’s a 39 month lease. Unfortunately all the expensive service is now apparently due (over $3k in brakes/rotors/etc) so I would prefer to just turn it in. The car is a few thousand miles under its allotment. Would the broker I get a new lease from be able to help shopping the return in some way? What’s the best strategy?
Well, whatever you do you most likely will have 3 payments to make…what is current value from Carmax, etc as compared to current payoff? Might be best to just go to an independent mechanic and drive it until end of lease.
Is the car showing message for these needed services? If so, won’t you still be charged for all of that, depending on what the inspection shows, even if you turn in the car early?
Take it to an Indy.
Hi. Doesn’t BMW cover the first 3 service visits? If you just had the 3 year visit, what is there to do 3 months later?
Brakes etc not covered.
For these lease not in full year, still pay registration for full year even return in 3 months?
Maybe we can get you out with very minimal to no negative equity.
I would be interested in that but your drive off plus broker fee is significantly more expensive than most of the others in the marketplace for the same priced cars.
