I didnt think he was applying the full A plan discount off of what looks like ~14-16% discount. That would have put the total discount at over ~22% according to my back calculations making the effective payment less than $200. The net I was trying to decipher if he meant A Elite Bonus and not full A plan. In other words the additional $750. Could be us Mass people understand our tricky accents

I have a 2020 Volvo I want to replace with something else. I understand that I can not transfer the lease nor I can sell the vehicle to 3rd party such as Carvana without paying the sales taxes first.
However, I believe I still can buy it at any time and pay the sale taxes for the payoff amount. At least in my state RI I could then buy another vehicle and the sales taxes would be only on the difference new vehicle - traded in volvo. And the new vehicle can be a volvo a BMW… and so on. am I correct?
