Figured I’d give this a shot, cos why not. I’ve been getting into reading more as I’ve had some down time recently. I just finished up Algorithms to Live By. I am a software engineer so it was fun to see the stuff I use applied to practical problems. It’s a really easy read even if you don’t have a comp sci background - highly recommend.

Cadillac Desert by Mark Reisner.
Fascinating read about water policy in the American West and how development happened by bringing the water to where there wasn’t any.

Just started The Price of Peace by Zachary Carter after finishing Shutdown by Tooze. Don’t recommend the latter
