This car is new to the market and so the lease deals suck. I would imagine this car should lease for around $950 but they are asking effective $1400 so I made a joke about how the car is costing you $950 and you are paying $450 a month for being one of the few with this car. Just a joke, ignore me!
Ahh. No worries. I get it now. I was trying all kinds of math to figure it out. Hank you for clarifying. Yeah the deals suck. The wife wants what she wants.
Just saw one of these today for the first time on the street, very nice! Expensive as all hell I’m sure!
They claim they can’t keep them in stock … but my local dealership has the same few for the past couple of weeks. Considering that '20s will be coming in the next few months … you can assume much deeper discounts by May/June. I’ll hold out.
To be clear every $1k down equates to $30 p/m on a 36 month lease. So with a $7.5k DAS and $1199 p/m in reality is $1425 p/m.
Merc GLS are at a much better price point as they’ll have a new version out for 2020. The downside is the interior is really old. Search the forum and you’ll get more data.
