Bmw X5 lease turn in

,

I have a PDR guy by me, he’s going to check out next weekend. By the pics , he said he should be able to pull it out.

Has never happened on any of my leases before but I guess something that was dense and heavy dropped down on it causing that ding. The A pillar is very thin and hard.

I’ve found with this car, that BMW has very soft paint/metal and the slightest twigs etc can cause dings.

I’d rather get it fixed before the inspection as I don’t want to deal with sending invoices to BMW showing the repair. Other than this ding, the car is perfect. Not even a hair line scratch anywhere.

That’s $250 on my kia report for a > 4" Dent, wonder what it is on a BMW

Hello Conanohasselhof - I had some damage worse than that on the door panel and when it went through the AutoVin inspection, they didn’t charge for it with the reasoning that it was smaller than a credit card. My suggestion to you would be to not do anything until you go through the inspection with AutoVin and gather their report. If they note it on their report, remember you can always get it repaired on your own before turning in the vehicle.
