Do dealers lie about MF buy rates?

I’ve been negotiating with some local Philadelphia area BMW dealers on some 2018 330i’s.

Deals have not been worth mentioning.

They were giving me a 0.00186 MF. I asked for the buy rate of 0.00156 (even though I wasn’t sure if it 0.00166). They said 0.00186 IS the buy rate.

How can I verify that?

Of course they would. .00166 is the buyrate MF.

Unless your credit isn’t top tier…if your credit was lower, .00186 could be the buy rate for your tier.

No buy rate would be .00206 (+.004) for the second tier. They are just lying.
