Surprised it took them this long- over the course of 6-7 years I’ve hears plenty of stories of BMWs catching fire spontaneously.

About time they took responsibility for it. I’ve seen so many news segments about this and BMW never took responsibility. I wonder if there’s any recourse for people who have had major losses as a result of this.
