BMW M340i order timing | broker lease

Hi All - question on timing of ordering a BMW M340i. My current Alfa lease is up on August 8th.

I hear the my2025 3 series will go into production in July 2024. I don’t think I want to try to extend my lease to get the 25 vs the 24.

I also plan on trying out a broker this time.

Would I be best off to reach out to a broker now to find out the details about timing? Don’t want to start too soon but also don’t want to miss the boat.

Many thanks in advance!

Timing of what? The mid-cycle refresh of the 3-Series just happened for MY 2023, so I can’t imagine that 2025 will be much diff than 2024…

Timing of placing the order to get the new car in August to align when I turn in my current lease.

There are posts/talks about another mild refresh for 2025.

Hardly anything to worry about. The last 15+ years of precedent suggest MY24s will be around until March or even April of 2025.

What’s the deal you are targeting?

Just ask a broker then about timing, especially if you’re going to enlist one for their services anyway. Or check the marketplace to see if you’re able to glean any current info on orders, etc. My sense is you have plenty of time though. Your lease isn’t up for almost a half a year.

So are you trying to time it so that you get a MY 2025?

Unless you have confirmation from a very good source that there are significant changes coming for MY 2025 (and that those changes would even be of interest to you), I think it would be better just to get a 2024…

Mid April.

Mid-April for MY 2025 dropping?

I didn’t read but you can and/or post to get any of your LCI questions answered here…

No, to start engaging with the broker. I’m guessing broker’s dealer can still give pricing according to discount off MSRP etc.

Oh, duh. I forgot that we’re not yet in April 2024!

Thanks everyone! Looks like I will reach out to a broker in April to inquire about the order. Any broker recommendations for so-cal that have done good lease deals on BMW orders? I see several on the forums.

California Marketplace has dealers too such as Dave.
