Effective June 1st BMW will be lowering the corporate fleet discount from $1500 to $500 for all of their cars. You can order in May and lock it in, but must take delivery of the vehicle by August 31.
Does it look like BMW hates customers? Jeez!

It didn’t decrease for the month of June. Does anyone have info on if the $1,500 discount will still be available in July?
I read that BMW changed course and did not drop the discount for June. Could they drop it in July? Sure but they haven’t said anything about it.

There are a lot of theories about why they are making leases more expensive. One is that they were losing too much money due to high residuals. Another is that they were too successful and now have a glut of CPO BMWs arriving. So they want to increase the cost of leases to make CPO cars the more attractive option. But whatever the underlying reason they clearly want lease prices up. Which really sucks for people like me that have expiring BMW leases later this year.
The other thing to be aware of is the former CIF also did not allow for a markup on the base money factor and marked down the base MF by .00020. It also removed the ~1K acquisition fee (I am not 100% sure if this is or isn’t available anymore). What was once easily the best leasing program around has quickly become less and less attractive. Factor in that they also took away MSDs and they’ve become more like everyone else rather than the standard.
