I did. Sent me for a manual appraisal, then asked me for pics of registration. Then told me it has to be the permanent registration.

Try calling the CA DMV’s special processing unit @ 916-657-8035 and ask them to email you the permanent registration card for your car. I’ve been able to do this a few times when I needed the reg card for a newly leased BMW that I hadn’t received the permanent metal plates and reg card for yet.

As long as they’ve processed the new reg application from the dealer, they’ll be able to send this to you with just your VIN and confirmation of your name and address tied to the registration.

That didn’t last long…I had a feeling you wouldn’t like an i7 50 coming from a Taycan CT. What is it specifically that you’re not crazy about with the i7, as admittedly it has always been something I’ve been somewhat curious about leasing, at least higher trim/spec’d cars with a ridiculously low payment lol. BTW, I’m huge fan of MSD, and I think it helps weed out the tire kickers too

driveway has bmw dealers in their network and can buy out your lease.

I actually like the car a lot. Just weighing my options. Doesn’t as nice as the Taycan, but it’s much more quiet with much less road noise and rattles. The tech is also way advanced, though the charging on the Taycan can’t be beat.

Driveway was great during Covid. They bought my X5 for more than what I paid after 9 months. They basically had car sold before they picked up cause I didn’t even see it on their website with pictures

Tried driveway but no instant offer - gonna go down the path of requesting manual offer later this week

Might be worth it. I got almost 4k over then vaemax and carvana .
