My lease is up in a few months and I have this “ding” above my door handle. Should I fix this before I return the car or is it acceptable wear and tear. The paint is scratched off and it’s a noticeable indent. Very easy for a PDR guy to pop out so that’s why I’m asking.
That either looks free or $200.

I’d leave it, unless it bothers you when see it.
If you have the pre-return inspection they’ll tell you how much it may cost and you can decide then.

Just do the pre-return inspection and if they ding you for it (pun intended), have it fixed.

If the paint is gone and it is noticeable, the dealer might charge you cheaper to have a PDR guy fix it before turn-in.
