I have a question about selling my leased BMW to a 3rd Party (carmax , Vroom, Carvana) or even to another non BMW dealership. I’m getting the run around. I’ve contacted BMW Financial several times they confirmed the Leased car can be sold to any dealership, or Carmax. Carvana etc. No issues. They provided the dealer payoff documents as well. Now I’ve been turned away from VW and Audi. They are telling me BMW will not allow . I can only sell it back to a BMW Dealership. I don’t know what’ to believe. I keep getting different answers. Does anyone have the latest on this? Also, if i were to sell the car to Carvana, Carmax what happens to my security deposits MSD? Will they be returned to me? Thanks
