Well, I guess thing changed nowadays.
As I said, my experience was 20 years ago and I did not pay my deductible when it was determined that it was not my fault. Once I got the police report showing that the other drivers ran a red light and faxed it to Farmers, they just told me to bring it to the body shop and that’s it.
I DID have to pay the car rental cost and then submit for reimbursement.
