I’ve been following this forum as a guide and reference point to work on some numbers, so big thank you to everyone for their contribution and help! To further add, i’m in process of my BMW lease renewal and need your opinion on the numbers I currently have:
Do you think it’s a good deal? I don’t have MF numbers or other info but these are the final numbers from them, so not sure if there is any room for further negotiations?
It will be for (2) 5-Series; myself and my cousin we both have our current lease on 530i expiring on the same date and plan to continue with BMW.
Not a very good deal but you’re also shopping a MY19 and top trim 5-series, so I don’t know how much better you can do.
I’d suggest finding a MY18 loaner. The rebate is better, the dealer discount will be higher, and you’re more likely to find a loaner. You should be able to get a much better deal especially if you have loyalty. Stack it with all the other plentiful rebates right now and you’ll do better than this.
I don’t mind 2018/2019 demo models and in-fact tried quite a few dealers but most of them don’t have any 2018’s in-stock. One dealer in socal offered 2019 540i loaner close to same price. What price-point should i target?
not much more you can do outside of what @dukez recommended. Only other options are to take the deal as-is, look at a different make/model or shop around. No magic pill here.
So, after speaking with almost all dealers in NorCal and over 7-8 dealers in SoCal, I came to conclusion that this is the best I can achieve:
2019 - 540i
MSRP: $65,335
Sale Price: ($58,148) Discount: $7,178
with all the rebates, and $1K march to spring event credit
Drive-0ff: $1650
Monthly: $688/including tax
2019 - 530i
MSRP: $60505
Sale Price: (53,244) Discount: $7,261
with all the rebates, and $1K march to spring event
Drive-0ff: $1500
Monthly: $634/including tax
Even inquired about demo or service loaner specials and it was outrageous when 2 dealers offered 6% discount off MSRP and few others with 9% max on a service loaner which is crazy!!! I don’t know if this is due to tax season but math is not aggressive to say the least on newer ones . will appreciate any feedback or advise
There’s a ton more than 7-8 dealers in Southern California. There may be over 40; when I looked for my car I emailed them all and only a handful were players.
7-8 doesn’t cut it.If it’s worth your time, email away.
