I remember there was a local guy here in SoCal who claimed that Lexus blacklisted him last year for flipping too many RZs. No idea if it’s true though.
With the EV credits ending on September 30, I’m not planning to pick up any more. These deals aren’t exactly gold mines—by the time I cover the first two or three months’ payments due to title delays, plus shipping costs, there’s barely anything left. I’ve even lost money on a few where I had to throw in incentives. At this point, it feels more like playing the lottery than making a profit. ![]()
Nah, you wouldn’t be picking up more of them if you weren’t making money. It’s like my friends who own businesses and claim they don’t make money yet they keep buying more businesses.
Lmao. By any chance these friends of yours South Asian ?? Lol cause its a very famous tactic.
Haha, yes, they are and right on about the tactic. Just realized the OP is South Asian so assessment is spot on lol.
Op just incase you misunderstand, nothing against you. Im S.A. myself so when @JSmith mentioned, I had to chime in ![]()

Yes there is, I have a customer who would come in and out of cars every couple of months.
He always told me they didn’t work for whatever reason, but found them on swapalease and BMWFS will no longer do business with said customer.
How about said costumer’s wife, children, parents, etc. if residing at the same address?
PS: Must’ve been footrests!
I think that’s what the customer started doing (not through me), but keeping up the same pattern won’t last too long with FS.
What’s the reasoning behind this, just curious.
Haha, probably so they don’t get asked for loans/handouts

Does the number work out? MD tax is always a huge deal breaker for me on high msrp leases. These puppies should have incurred $6k in just sales tax.
Lmaoooooo great point.
Not sure, i never understood myself but @BYGFEET made a great point plus some people just have a habit and I have seen it non Asians too but not as much and definitely not as bad.
They don’t want people to know if the business is doing well or at least how well so others (especially South Asians) don’t get into that type of business. Nowadays it doesn’t matter as South and rarely East Asians are into businesses they wouldn’t have been in the past (at least here in the Northeast).
I’ll no longer be posting vehicles on this forum. It’s clear that most here are more interested in discussing South Asian businesses than actually buying vehicles. I’ve had zero success selling mine here and don’t see the point in dealing with the negativity. I’ll stick to SAL and Marketplace, where people actually come to get deals done.
@Someone, please close this thread and all of my other threads related to the i7.
