Try to use the strong recuperation, it really makes a difference on the consumption
Yes, but your EQS has 114 kWh battery compared to 82 kWh on the i5.
The M60 EPA range estimate is 37 kwh per 100 miles, or 2,7 mi/kwh
Edmunds long term test vehicle averaged 35 kwh per 100 miles, or 2.8 mi/kwh

Getting 3.4 mi/kwh is a fair amount better than I was expecting.
Bmw revealed official i4…cape york green m50 is beautiful!
That would affect the range, not the mileage per kWh
Correct, but who wants an EV with a ~250-mile range in 2024? At least I could get 350+ miles out of my EQS on a single charge.
Eqb range fits me just fine. I have no problem using it philly-nyc or philly-DC, for longer trip, I still have my ice. Longer range is overrated once you know what you actually need.
I don’t drive more then 50 miles on most days and 250 miles of range is over 4 hours of continuous driving during road trips. I’ll take the smaller carbon footprint impact, and cost, of the 82kwh battery any day. A bigger battery is not the answer.
I made a ~66kWh usable (battery degradation) MYLR work for me on several 230-240 mile sectors recently and having had an i4 40e with the same pack as your i5 which can range 300+ it really does get to be overkill unless you have a titanium lined bladder.
In many (most?) multicar households there’s one or more cars that never leave a short radius from home.
For a cheap car in a multicar household, lower range is actually a much better compromise than the shortcomings of a typical cheap ICEV like horrible NVH, a thrashy engine, awful transmission and trouble merging on the freeway.
Not too shabby. I was averaging up near 4.0 for stretches. Even used boost twice.
Gonna need a double tap.
Decent rip for a 150.

Don’t be jelly. 605 lb-ft of torque with M Sport Boost for 10 seconds.
I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds, I’m free.
