Assuming one pay, the sale price they posted on their website is what they’re offering (does not include rebates), using corporate fleet discount = loyalty (it is for Feb), and assuming that BMW still offers its 7500 lease credit (conflicting dealer sources), it knocks out to be about 220 a month with tax. Am I sane or did I do this wrong?
2 miles, brand new with 45.4k list after dealer discount not including rebates on dealers website.I used rebates, lease cash, and state incentives from my state of residence, I assume that’s the way to go.
Okay, that didn’t pickup in my search because it’s beyond 500 miles…
I just checked the car listing… and your assumptions are correct…
Grab it quickly
Good luck!
“At 36 month with 15000 miles per year the total payment, if we go the 7% tax correct, is $543 with only $1000 total due at signing. At 12000 miles it would be about $22 less.”
My reply:
“Wait, you are trying to sell a 2019 i3 for less than 8% off MSRP?!? I have purchased three BMWs (i3, 330e & 330i) all between 15-20% off MSRP before rebates and this is a year old i3. When you are in that range I’ll be interested but by that time BMW will have pulled 2019 lease support and you will be stuck with an i3. Best of luck to you.”
He said thank you and have a great night so no deal. LOL We will see this i3 in Ohio for years to come! lol
I smell cap from the dealer sniff sniff. But seriously, the website had no mention of any rebates, and the 7500 fed tax credit would be on your tax returns. Nice, BMW of Cleveland.
The $7,500 is not on your tax return as you don’t own the car nor does the captive have to pass it along, although they usually do.
I’ve rarely every seen a public ad actually translate into a hackr worthy deal and always assume the price includes every possible incentive for whatever is higher; purchase vs. lease.
When you purchase the car it is, so the listed price should not include the rebate, as legally it is not the actual price, but a rebate on your taxes from the Fed. Government. Same reason Tesla got sued for listing their post tax rebate pricing on their website. It was a good price find, but I wish it could transfer.
