BMW is currently offering a 39 month lease (where the residual is the same as 36 months) term. That logically takes the lease through to December 2029. Will this special term and residual continue through Oct - Dec 2026? Or anyone’s guess at this point? My current lease expires end October, and I’m wondering if I should just try and get a lease now, carrying 2 leases for 1 month, or wait until next month or year end. ---

Lender tax credits on the 7er sunset on the 30th so unless you want to pay an extra $150-230/mo in sales tax alone I’d get it [NOW](https://forum.leasehackr.com/t/insight-auto-bmw-7-yrs-rated-most-trusted-responsive-september-26-texas-south-natl-sales/199474/5965). ---

Sorry to reviving this thread, if you don’t mind me asking again, for i4 and i5, are M40/M50 the only trims eligible for lender’s credit? Some dealer said this is still the case but I thought it is for the last year, or it’s never changed I guess? Ty in advance! ---

Neither i4 nor i5 of any subvariant are eligible for lender tax credit at this time. ---

Oh got it! Thank you so much for the info! I was contemplating the idea of i5 M50 but I guess I’m out of luck.
