BMW 540d Purchase - need help understanding nuances

Hi Everyone -

540d owner here.

I’m undecided about purchasing the car and keeping it or purchasing and selling it. That said, if I were to purchase and sell right away to Carvana or the like (since BMWFS will not allow direct sales to 3rd party companies), would I have to pay taxes/registration? If so, that would crush the potential profits and I’d likely keep it for a while.

Open to thoughts, opinions, and the like. Please let me know if you need additional detail.

Third Party Lease Buyout
