Both corporate and loyalty require a $1,000 contribution from the dealership. Most brokers are āhidingā this in the discount, i.e. if they are giving you 10% off, it includes the $1,000 dealership contribution. This means that they are showing 10% off and only $1,000 in rebates in their calculators, but the actual selling price is 10% off, plus $1,000, and there are $2,000 in rebates on the contract. Iām not playing those games.
I can offer 10% off an order on the east coast and 10.5% from the midwest, so it just depends on where youāre located.
Sure, but everyone is getting the same discount, technically. The way BMW set this up is really confusing. Iām just posting what I did because people have said ābut so-and-so is offering 1% more off the carā when my numbers are actually better than the other numbers these people have received.
Isnāt it less confusing to show dealerās discount before any rebates (as we preach here) and $2k as a rebate? To the buyer, dealerās $1k is no different from ādealer cashā, in this case.
Right, thatās what Iām doing. I posted a car at 11% off. Everyone gets 11% off. If you have loyalty or corporate, you get another $2,000 off the car. Keep it simple. Some people are burying the rebates and making the discounts look like more than they are, thatās all.
Anyone want a super-loaded X7 xDr40i at 12% off plus rebates? This car has DA pro, dynamic handling, M sport, M sport pro, executive, climate, etc. It does not have bowers or captainās chairs. This car is $106,000.
39/10 lease - requires loyalty or corporate. Subtract $2,000 from incentives if you have neither.
$1,072 + tax per month with $3,000 + registration and tax on incentives at signing.
Not sure I 100% understand. It doesnāt seem that simple. I was interested in an X5 50e, do not have have loyalty/corporate.
The total dealer contribution (what discounts the car) when you do the math is $1000 lower on non-loyalty/corporate deals than on loyalty/corporate deals. So depending on who you are (what incentives you have) the dealer contribution may vary.
The way weāre doing it, everyone gets the same discount. The total for loyalty or corporate is $2,000. The dealership doesnāt want to put more money into those deals, but we worked it out so that everyone gets the same discount rather than people asking why the selling price changes from what was advertised or quoted (even if we arrive at the same numbers because itās been shifted to incentives). Simply put, the discount is what Iām advertising for the percentage off.
In essence isnāt dealer contribution the same as discount (feel free to correct me if Iām wrong)?
So simply put, you are worse off if you have no incentives going through you as the amount the dealer is putting in the deal will be $1000 more if you have loyalty/corporate.
Canceled order - a very loaded iX M70 is available! There are not many of these around. This one has frozen paint, amido leather, DA pro, executive, and 22āā wheels. The MSRP is over $123,000.
Itās 8% off with base MF.
Pricing for 36/10 with loyalty or corporate is $1,150 + tax per month with $3,075 + registration and tax on incentives at signing.
So youāre only covering the NE/E region, right?
Can you recommend someone for the NW (WA)?
Iām looking to finance an M3/M4 ā could also buy from NE if the discount beats NW even after shipping. Is that doable?
I work nation-wide! There wonāt be discounts on an M3, but an M4 is possible. Would you mind filling out my form, please, so that we can discuss some options? Thanks!
X5s dropped their MF this month and have $1,000 lease cash, so these are now deal cars! Hereās an X5 xDr40i with just premium and parking assistance. Itās 12% off plus incentives, with base MF.
39/10 - requires loyalty or corporate. Subtract $2,000 from incentives if you have neither.
$818 + tax per month with $2,750 + registration and tax on incentives at signing.
MSDs drop it to $775.
