I am in SoCal and wanted to lease an X1 or 330 with little out of pocket for 15k miles a year. Do you guys know if this is possible at 320 a month or so with taxes? It seems like someone here did this I’m good with a base model. How much do you think AARP discounts can help? Thanks, and if there is any contact you could recommend for the SoCal area that would be great.
I’d say impossible for $320 including tax with 15k/year.
Next to impossible. Whats the msrp on the car you are looking to lease? AARP discount is gone my friend. Bmw discountinued it.
Yes I tried for 330i and almost impossible to get anything below $400 a month. But I had Drivers assistant+technology package
I think Impossible on a 330. (Presume wagon?)
Not sure about X1 as they are cheaper than the 330 wagon in base configuration at about $33k - so a zero optioned car might get there but not at 15k miles/ year… maybe on 10k per year
I think even with base configuration it is difficult to get at $330 now even for 10K. Tried all the dealers in Southern California
This is the first time I am trying to lease and that too started a couple of days back, but the amount of info I can get and people feedback one can get from this site is just too good. Is there a way to put some donation here for people maintaining this site and doing a great work.
YES!!! Below is the link to donate to this wonderful site.
Done. And I really appreciate what this team is doing. Thanks guys
Thanks guys. Well I figured if MSRP was 39k for example and I got a sale price of 33k for example which is a little more than 15%, with a RV of .6 over 36 months payments come out to 266 without taking into account tax or interest. I just saw someone who was able to get a 330i for 297 a month before taxes. Thats also before when they allowed MSD I guess.
My perception has been that the X1 does not lease well. I think BMW is moving them, no problem, and has set the residual so that they make good money on them. I haven’t run the numbers to confirm that- just going by what I see as offers on the BMWUSA site. Their base offer on a fairly basic X1 is $319 with $3K down. You can usually beat those numbers with a good dealer but I’m doubtful you can get it to $330 with minimal down.
Maybe a 320 you can get something going or look at the 330e which though more expensive has more support. But it can’t be a car with too many options on it.
If you want a no nonsense quote on a BMW get in touch with Greg Poland at Pacific BMW in Glendale. Pick a car on their site and ask him for a quote.
Maybe consider a demo or CPO of a 320 to purchase? You can find very low miles 320’s in the low $20-23k and talk them down.
I like how the ad says 320i A 8. Are they grafting cars now?
