Did you Buy or lease?
How much you end up paying…
MSRP - 29,500 (LE AWD + $1200 convenience).
I paid $28,800 + $180 vin etch shoved onto me (yeah I know I couldve fought to remove this) + $499 doc fee (meh maybe a little high). All that had 6.625% tax added. $90 plate transfer fee from DMV. Came out to a just around $32k.
They claimed without Costco pricing, the lowest they go is MSRP+1500. I don’t know if that’s Bs or not.
Financed at 2.49%.
The way market is going on now for used cars you will recover all your money in 18 months if you decide to sell again.
What was the offer for the Subaru Legacy?
$300 below MSRP. Again in the entire NYC suburbs of NJ, there was one Toyota dealer accepting Costco pricing (that too only for Camry and one or two other less common models), and one Subaru dealer (again, not for all models). Both said Costco pricing only applies to cars on their lot; not on upcoming inventory.
If you want their names, I can tell you. Toyota dealer had maybe 10 Camry’s on the lot. Subaru had 3 Legacy’s.
