Best State or city to lease a vehicle in?

Similar to @jeisensc, life isn’t meant to be lived in one place. It’s a big country and for me it has be beyond great to explore several places.

Unless NY has something like CA’s Prop 13, probably not (but I don’t know). Prop 13 is presumably why everything else in CA is so expensive…

Hard to say b/c NYC consists of 5 boroughs (but I think most people are actually referring to Manhattan), and “Los Angeles” often usually means “the greater Los Angeles area” (the county is 4000 sq mi). So you have to compare similar parts of LA and NYC. And then there’s price per sq ft (vs. just looking at median home or rent prices).

I’m too lazy to look it up, but I imagine the maximum price per sq ft in Manhattan easily exceeds that of LA and that the density of such property is greater in Manhattan, even if LA might have a larger absolute number of very expensive property.
