Best EV deals in Northern CA

My wife will be turning in her 2023 Q4 etron (previous PND) in August so we’re trying to figure out which EVs will/should lease well. No Tesla, Hyundai, Kia or 3-row but something similar in size to the Q4.

She’s driven and likes the Mustang and is open to Subaru, Volvo, Lucid, Toyota, Audi and others so no real brand loyalty here. Prefer 24 months but will do 36 and needs 12.5mi/yr. EDIT - no sedans, must be SUV.

Any direction is appreciated understanding it’s difficult to know today what might be leasing well in August. Also, we’re open to eating an extra payment if there is a strong deal for 4th of July.

Subaru and Toyota released a few EVs.

Also the Mercedes has a new electric as well.

Thanks forbs. I’ll check out the Mercedes.

Cadillac LYRIQ leases well and is about the same size as your current car

Love the Lyriq but that body is about 18" longer that Q4. Still gonna dig into it though, especially if they’re leasing well. Thanks for the heads up.

Cadillac OPTIQ is the smaller version. If you don’t mind leasing a dealer-used courtesy vehicle, I see that often around here (northeast).

Thanks. Will consider looking into dealer courtesy vehicle.

August is a lifetime away. Gas prices could collapse or skyrocket by then. EV prices are correlated.

Also looking for EV SUV’s in NorCal. The Ioniq9 and EV9 are hard to swallow looks wise. Following this thread to see if there are other alternatives

Sacramento part of NorCal but will to Bay Area for strong deal

No good EVs now, everything is significantly more expensive of what it used to be. Ev9 gt line best value overall or ioniq 9 SEL but dealers here will not discount a lot.

Best cars to get now are Mercedes GLB/ GLC/ GLE

Seems like the only dealer location is San Diego in CA. Used ones are now below $20k. I believe they all have 10 year new vehicle warranty (not just battery warranty). For those who dare to take the risk…

wow that’s a nice deal.

Does exclude TTL so Add up to another $3k

And wow VF SD is the only one left West of Dallas

It’s a 2025. And you are taking lemon risk, getting stranded risk etc. So I would still start with $99 per month and see where they can meet
