No one is waiving any dealer fees.
Research comp deal, set a realistic pre-incentive target, and push for that.

Thanks. It seems lately people have been getting around $2000-$2500 off so $3000 is decent apart from the fact that $1200 of it is dealer fees. So, maybe $4000 is doable. I am going to ask for $5000 total discount and go from there.

Where? Your description shows $595 of dealer fees.
Where? Your description shows $595 of dealer fees.
The line taxable fees (estimated): $1260.34
Doc fee of $595 I plugged in to the calculator as govt fees
SEL for $545? Run far far away.
33 months gets to just under $500 (zero due at signing). Where would you try to improve on this? The offer I have looks to be with base mf, correct incentives, and $3k discount. I know these used to be much better but seems like the residuals have been dropped in the most recent month or two.
Thatās generally acquisition fee and your gov fees. The $595 dealer doc is the dealer fee.
SEL 24 months should be between $300 - $400 with zero down.
Limited should be 400-500.
36 should be moreā¦but not $500 more. And you are in NY where the deals are.
Edit : NY raised the price of the SEL AWD to around $450.
Ok so I had it a bit backwards. Thanks.
Thanks - yea if you include the taxes in NY itās kind of hard to get much under 450 - requires around 4500 discount on top of incentives I think.
I ended up doing this with a broker on here⦠even with the broker fee and shipping it was better by about $20/month vs what I could get on my own so I am satisfied (plus I wonāt have to figure out how to get 2+ hours away to the dealers offering the closer deals). I couldnāt get anyone else to budge beyond $3k discount from MSRP and that only with marked up mf ⦠thanks for the help everyone.
