Iâve been living in Seattle area for the last twenty years and I still get surprised how early some cherry trees start blooming. Taken today:

Welcome! I hope youâll enjoy your stay as the weather is kinda meh but it should get better later next week.
Lemmi know if you need any sightseeing recommendations.
Im in Vancouver now, will go back on Thursday, plan is to go to Leavenworth on friday ![]()
Thatâs a good plan!
You might want to stop by Deception Pass on your way down to Seattle if you are driving.
Tell me more cause im driving ![]()
Itâll add an hour to your drive but I think itâs worth it if you like nature.
Thereâs a pretty high bridge connecting mainland and Whidbey Island.
People usually park around and walk on the bridge.
The views represent PNW at itâs best - evergreens, cliffs, water, islands, mountains. And the water there has some crazy shades of emerald. Itâs also a great place to catch an intense sunset, weather dependent of course.
Speaking of beautiful water colors, Iâm assuming youâll take HWY-2 to get to Leavenworth? If so, thereâs a cool spot to stop by on the way, itâs right off the highway and easy to miss if you donât know where to stop.
Itâs called Eagle Falls, according to Google, itâs right around milepost 39. Youâll need to park on a shoulder , get over the guardrail and then go down. Youâll probably see a bunch of no parking signs, Iâve never had any problems there. Cops usually keep an eye on it during summer as itâs a popular swimming hole and cars flood the area.
Anyway, that water color is usually pretty mind blowing but Iâve never been there during rainy/snow melt time, so that might affect it. But itâs an easy stop on you way to Leavenworth.
If you want to enjoy a bratwurst and a beer with a view while in Leavenworth, check out the second floor terrace in MĂŒnchen Haus, definitely one of my favorite spots over there.
Brother thank you so much for the detailed information!!! I really appreciate it!!! ![]()
Those look like palms and the ocean (?). Arenât you in the NE? ![]()
Iâm but used last couple of thousand miles left on Frontier to see them before returning truck back to Nissan and moving on to Arya
Ahh, thatâs right⊠I do (now) recall the discussion on using the frontier vs getting a rental. Hope you had a great trip! âŠand milked every mile out of the Nissan. ![]()
I think I milked a bit too much and will be over miles by the end of itđ Ops
