I discovered just the other day that RAM is putting the Hurricane into the standard trucks. I don’t recall hearing anything about that, so I was a bit surprised.

It is worth noting that the Laramie does not have the juicy 5xx hp Hurricane. I think the one in the Laramie is in the 4’s. I haven’t cared to research the differences yet.

Optional on the Big Horn but standard on the Laramie up, the standard output Hurricane does 420HP/469TQ vs the outgoing 5.7L V8 that did 390HP/410TQ. It will never sound as great as a Hemi, but I bet my money that Hurricane motor performs much better and is a better driving experience. The Limited trim+ gets the 540HP/521TQ Hurricane.

Heres another beauty of Twin Turbo I6 vs NA V8s
 I bet a tuner will get their hands on these and put some crazy power numbers out there. V8s you gotta spring on a lot of hardware mods to really juice them.

I agree. I think the Hurricane will outperform the older motors all around (other than the sound, as you’ve said). I know guys have had good things to say about the 420 Hurricane in the Laramie’s.

I look forward to driving one of the new motors at some point. I’ve been considering placing an order for an RHO, but time will tell

Must take physical delivery of the vehicle by 5/31, we can try to schedule home deliveries within FL but not guaranteed due to how close to the month end we are and for this specific sale and timing we prefer in-store pickup. We were initially going to post specifically as FL only, but decided to make it pickup by 5/31 instead in case someone out of state wants to fly in and pick up.

Regarding the Limited, this is based on a base build Limited, however we have varying levels of packages/options in stock. Please note the sale is on these specific models/trims but you can choose between available builds/options.

Unfortunately no, however we selected these model/trims with our dealer as our sale vehicles due to having more available stock and mix of builds available. Please submit an inquiry to connect with our Jeep rep Nathan with your preferences and he can check what we have left.
