Wrx is generally a better buy than lease. The residuals are actually lower than what the car will be worth and after you pay the bank fee fianacing is a much better option.

From a financial perspective, the Subaru makes sense, but you really have to not care about driving to get one. I had one and it was as boring as a Camry. The engine already sounds like poop, with teh CVT it would be way worse
