This is just my anecdotal experience over the past few weeks, but I found it can be slightly cheaper to lease in NY. The acquisition fee is set by the state at $75 and registration is only about $90. When I was talking to a dealer in CT they were charging $499 and $266 respectively. That difference is like chopping $500+ off the price right away (if you can get the same deal in both areas)
