What does everyone here think of this deal ? May be I can negotiate Dent and appearance protection with the dealer.
Can someone help me with leasehackr calculator ?

Calculator Doesn’t seem to match the quote . Can someone let me know if this is a good deal?

Look in the signed section to see what folks are paying. My gut tells me to keep looking, but if time is an issue, I would seriously consider using a broker.

That would be a serious understatement.

A Quick Look at Signed Deals & Tips and Marketplace up/down the coast would tell you no one here is taking that deal

why is that ? I want to understand why its a bad deal ? And where can be improved?

Why is that ? Can you elaborate?

2 posters have recommended you look at other posted deals here, and one of them provided the links.

I would suggest you take a look at those first.

I’m far from an expert but have been shopping EVs this month, and I think your calculator looks more like this: Leasehackr Calculator

Biggest issue is they’re only giving you a about a 6% discount and then adding back $1500 of that in their Protection add-ons, making it more like a 4.5% discount. If you plug in a 12% discount like the Marketplace brokers seem to be able to get, then you get a payment in the high 5s / low 6s .

The usual advice is to either approach other dealers with your target discount and state up-front that you won’t pay for add-ons, or reach out to one of the brokers if you don’t want to jump through the hoops yourself.

For what its worth, you’re not alone being frustrated. We don’t all live in NY, CA, or FL which seem to be where the brokers target, and not every dealer has signed on to the ‘fire sale’ which was supposed to be happening this month ahead of the rebate expiration. All the usual dealer games seem to be still going on.

Washington is a particularly bad market, FWIW.

Thanks for the response. When I am asking for discount for leasing a car, how would I negotiate a 12% discount ? Is it after taxes and registration included? Like in this case is it 12% on 76040 for a final OTD price ?

Dealer don’t budge and they are ready to wait.

It should be the % off MSRP that the dealer themselves can offer, before rebates, etc. I’m seeing a lot of dealers listing the $7500 tax rebate as their ‘discount’ to drum up traffic on the EVs, and the rebate should really be on top of that.

Taxes, fees, etc are usually separate as some people want to roll those into the payment and some are ok paying them up front.

Chicagoland isn’t great now either considering its such a big market. There’s only a few Audi EVs still in stock of any variety within 100 miles, so I don’t see dealers from this brand feeling huge pressure to clear these out in September. In an area with a lot of high income folks, I’m sure they eventually can sell these at MSRP to some whales who could care less whether they got a good deal or a tax rebate.

This is not a concept that is particularly meaningful when discussing a lease.

Based on what you find in the marketplace, you need to create a target deal and present it to dealers. There are many threads available on how to present offers to dealers, so I would suggest you read through those. It might mean reaching out to dozens of dealers and can be very time consuming.

Have you looked into a broker? Take a look a look a @LuxConcierge . Maybe they deal with Washington clients?

No elaboration would be necessary if you spent any time diving into those links

This is the amount deducted by the dealer from MSRP, before any manufacturer incentives are applied.

The most effective people here don’t negotiate. They research where the market is on a given car, understand in detail how to construct a deal, and make firm, immediately actionable take it/leave it offers.

There’s a learning curve, but the investment pays real dividends (both in money and time) every time you get a car.

Don’t shop for a car until you know exactly what you’re willing to pay. Most people miss this very important step. I’m not talking about a test drive; I’m talking about after you’ve decided you want the car.

I will check and see with brokers who work WA state.

Hopefully you get the deal that you want. Good luck with the search!

Did you get a better offer? This is what my dealer (TX) is telling me:

Audi Q6 Quattro Premium Plus - 36mo/10k

Retail 75750

Selling 70933

Savings + Rebates 14817

Permaplate 1000

Taxes (TX) 3983

Residual 54%

MF 0.00072

Capitalized taxes 814

Only first month down

$699/mo for 36 months = $25164 all in.

With the credit expiring in a few days, is there room to do any better?

You’ll get more replies if you put together LH calculator. what are savings + rebates? Do you qualify for additional over the national rebates of $10k? What’s the extra $4817?

Have you talked to some of the Marketplace brokers?

If you’ve spent any reasonable amount of time here- stop asking dealer for what they want you to pay. If you don’t want to use a broker, you must present them a well-researched, georgraphically targeted, time-sensitive, actionable offer. And you have to know your buyrate MF and all the incentives in your geography.

You have 2 days left so get a deal with a broker.
