Audi Q5 - Lease Transfer

Hello All,

First time here and am looking to transfer my 2017 Audi Q5. It was a 42 month lease at $651.94 per month in Texas started on 2 Jan 2017. It was zero down and zero drive off. Had some upside down coming from a Q3 previously and of course Texas has additional tax.

If someone is interested in can post more details here, let me know what kind of information you need, currently just seeing if there is any interest at all.

Doubt you will find anyone on here to take that over. Why would anyone want to take on your negative equity without some huge incentive?

Not to mention Texas tax

I’m interested if you pay the negative equity off and it comes to $250 a month

I might be interested. PM details+ your incentive

Yeah well even if negative equity is paid off and lets forget the Texas tax for now, you wont find an Audi Q5 for $250 a month.

I think i should point out that this is a 2.0T Premium Plus version with Audi side assist, premium sound (bang and olufsen). So seriously the price might be a bit high but i dont think for Texas it is that bad especially with $0 down.

You’re willing to transfer the lease knowing you’ll remain liable?

Yeah i am willing to do that.

Pics and window sticker with MSRP will help. Also post your incentives. There hardly any details here for folks to even consider. Just the price wont cut it. How many miles left on the car? Where’s the window sticker? Where are the options? Put some real details dude!! get moving if you need to get out of your lease.

post the Vin and I can list all of the features for you.

Wait. Why are people contemplating this lease? Am I missing something? You are asking for someone to take on your negative equity. You should at least leave that as an incentive. Only 2 weeks ago I was able to get one of these 410 pre tax (premium AWD model).

Sounds like people are trying to see what kind of incentive the OP is giving – I’m assuming everyone else is under the assumption that they won’t be taking on OP’s negative equity. But if that’s not the case, then I need to go grab my popcorn

I have not seen anywhere that OP states he is giving any incentive. “Interested” people are just assuming for the best?

Perhaps I’m giving people too much credit? I just don’t think anyone here is stupid enough to pay off someone else’s car

Sorry this is the Prestige model, got confused it was 2.0T Quattro top model. I dont have the window sticker but will try and put pics up. Details below.

Miles currently at - 3800
Remaining miles - 22450
MSRP - $56394
Gross Capitalized Cost - $42399

I am willing to cover first month payment and lease transfer fees.

Ok guys i am trying to keep the conversation civil, when i say negative equity its not like we are talking about thousands of dollars, since it was there i mentioned it. No one is yet to say that for Texas Audi Q5 Prestige model lease should have been around $XXX?

How is someone else paying off my car here, i fail to understand. Isnt that what people do when they take over someone else’s lease? Is the question about people stupid to take over a lease or is the stupidity in this price range?

I know you guys are much more knowledgeable here and might be scoring deals every month on lease but when someone new comes here requesting feedback and help, I dont know how being negative and calling people stupid is adding to a discussion here?

Just to add my situation here, this might not be deal of the century but its really not an extremely bad deal IMO but if you guys think so, sure let me know what could have been better that will help me in future. I am currently unemployed, trying to feed my family of 4, not asking for money or begging here but still just from human perspective people need to understand a situation before saying too many things.

It might be fun for you guys to laugh at me on my deal but the situation is not funny for me. I came here looking and trying, thats what someone who has to do, when you are down you go ahead and try.

Lastly sorry for a long post but i am trying to work out a deal here so that i can start saving some money and think ahead about future.

If someone is paying your negative equity they are paying off your Q3

I agree on that part, but its not a huge negative equity. Look at the figures i have posted, i got a decent deal. Even if we consider not having Q3 there, Prestige model goes on lease for $600-650 a month here in Texas with absolutely $0 down.

1st its 650
2nd 7500 miles lease
3rd not that hard to get that price
