Swapalease says if you transfer out of your Audi lease you are still liable if the new lessee defaults, is this true? What is the extent of liability in this situation?
You need to call audi to get full extent of everything. I would assume you would be liable for payments and such or if the new lesee messes up the car.
yup, best to call Audi and ask. i know infiniti is the same. Lexus, BMW, and Benz on the other hand is good cause you’re not liable when you transfer.
Do you have any updates on this? Did you find out what the original owner is liable for?
I am 1000 percent sure Audi VW leases are NOT fully transferable. The original lease holders name will not be removed. Only a new name added.
